FAQ

Do I need Pro just to download videos?+
No. The Yaria tab is free forever: paste a link, pick quality, download. Pro is only for Mantorex (library, player hub, remote streams, DLNA, discovery). You can ignore Mantorex completely if you only want downloads.
How do I try Mantorex without paying?+
Install the app, open the Mantorex tab, and click Start 30-day free trial. Full Pro for 30 days, no card. One trial per device. When it ends, free downloads still work; buy a key only if you want Mantorex to stay on.
Where does my data go? Do you need an account?+
Downloads, library, and settings stay on your machine. Free use needs no account. If you activate Pro, the app checks the license about every 7 days (key + device ID only). Downloader core is open source on GitHub.
Can I move my Pro license to a new PC?+
Each key is tied to one device. Switching machines or wiping the OS? Contact us and we'll reset the binding. Free, usually same day.
Is Pro a subscription or a one-time purchase?+
One payment ($8). Lifetime license and updates. No renewal, no "Pro becomes subscription later" switch.
Does Pro still work if I'm offline for a while?+
Yes for about 14 days on the cached license. After that Mantorex waits until you're online again to re-check. Your files, downloads, and library never get wiped.
Which OS can I run this on?+
Desktop app: Linux and Windows (amd64). macOS is planned. Prefer the terminal? CLI on Linux, macOS, and Windows: npm install -g @zsnero/yaria.
